Anne learned to play squash at Smith College and played for two years on the Pioneers’ varsity team. She is currently working on her PhD in Composition and Rhetoric at the University of Massachusetts, where she teaches introductory college writing. In addition to squash, Anne is an avid runner. She has contributed several articles to Squash Magazine.

Michael played squash at the Williston Northampton School and continued to play recreationally at the College of the Holy Cross.  After graduation, Michael met  his wife and co-editor, Anne, on a squash court.  Michael regularly contributes articles and photographs for Western Mass Squash, a popular local website for squash enthusiasts, and Squash Magazine. He designed and takes photographs for College Squash Association website. His squash photos may be found on mtbello.com.
