Hannover, NH — At the 2017 College Squash Individual Championships, Ahmed Hatata (Bates) and Rick Penders (Trinity) played in the opening round of the Pool Trophy (A Division).

Hatata, a senior, won the match in four games (14-12, 11-5, 9-11, and 11-9). He advanced to face eventual winner of the 2017 Pool Trophy, Osama Khalifa (Columbia). Penders made it to the consolation final and played his Trinity teammate Michael Craig.
