Washington University in St. Louis St. Louis, MO — Washington University in St. Louis entered the E Division of the 2016 Women’s College Squash Association National Team Championships with an undefeated record. The team had not been tested throughout the regular season and lost 2 of 3 matches at the tournament. The Bears realize the need for increased competition during the regular season. According to co-captain Misha Hooda, “We are really trying to branch out and play as many teams as possible this season. It can be hard to find a lot of matches in the Midwest so we are planning on making a few trips to the East Coast this season. As we are playing a lot of new teams this year, we don’t specifically have any teams that we can consider key matches. We are just focusing on working hard this season and bringing our A game to every match.” With the majority of their line-up back and two players returning from squash gap years the team’s prospects look bright. If Washington University in St. Louis can get challenging matches, they may be in the hunt for the Epps Cup.
