New York UniversityBethlehem, PA — Lehigh University has launched an emerging club squash program. The men’s program has existed for a number of years, but 2014 – 2015 will be the inaugural season for the women’s squad. The Mountain Hawks’ main goal is to qualify for the Team Championships. According to Tyler Sloan, “We would like to grow the women’s squash program at Lehigh and play several competitive matches ahead of Nationals.” The team is looking forward to facing Haverford, a fellow Pennsylvania school and the reigning E Division champions.  With twelve players on the roster, fielding a team should not be a challenge. Now the Mountain Hawks need to schedule matches so they can join Team Championships in February.
