Photos from the 2012 Men’s College Squash Team Championships: St. Lawrence and Middlebury #3s
Princeton, NJ — At the 2012 Men’s College Squash Association National Team Championships, St. Lawrence and Middlebury played in the opening round of the Hoehn Cup (B Division).
The team match was incredibly close, and it came down to the final match. With the overall match score tied 4-4, the Saints’ Chris Fernandez and the Panthers’ Spencer Hurst battled to 2-all. The fifth game came down to the wire, with Fernandez pulling out an 11-9 win to seal the match for the Saints.
At the match at the #3 position, Middlebury’s Parker Hurst faced St. Lawrence’s Khan Ibrahim. Hurst won the match in a close three games (14-12, 13-11, and 11-6).
