Hanover, NH — Dartmouth is one of several teams that has been on the bubble between the A and B Divisions at the Women’s National Team Championships (Howe Cup). Dartmouth won the Kurtz Cup (B Division) two years ago and made the jump into the A Division last season, finishing eighth overall. It looks like competition between teams in this section of the rankings should be close again this season, and Williams, Cornell, and Brown will be key matches for the Big Green.

“It is a very young roster with probably only one or two seniors who will make it into top ten on the team,” says head coach Hansi Wiens. “However, I do believe that our sophomores and juniors are up to the challenge of guiding the freshmen through the season.”

Three new players should have an impact on the roster, with Helena Darling expected to play somewhere in the top or middle three, and Marian Lurio and Oona Morris likely to add depth in the bottom 3.
