Hanover, NH — At the 2011 Women’s College Squash Individual Championships, the Ramsay Cup (“A” Division) semifinals featured Julie Cerullo (Princeton) and Laura Gemmell (Harvard).

Cerullo defeated Corey Schafer (Dartmouth), her teammate Elizabeth Eyre (Princeton), and Rachael Goh (Penn) to reach the semifinals. Gemmell defeated Alexis Saunders (Princeton), Jaime Laird (Cornell), and Pamela Chua (Stanford) to face Cerullo.

Gemmell captured the match in three games (11-7, 11-7, and 11-8) to maintain her undefeated status in collegiate play (2 years); however, she was upset in the Ramsay Cup finals by Yale’s Millie Tomlinson.

Both Cerullo and Gemmell were named to the All-American and All-Ivy League teams.
