Princeton, NJ — The 2011 Women’s College Squash Team Championship Howe Cup (“A” Division) quarterfinal was contested between Penn and Princeton.  This was the second meeting of the season for the two Ivy League rivals.

In late January, Penn visited Princeton. The Quakers won four of the top five matches and escaped with a 5-4 victory.  From the top five, Princeton’s Jackie Moss had the sole victory.

Approximately a month later, the two teams met again. This time, Princeton was hosting the 2011 Howe Cup. The Tigers, the 5th seed, were set on reversing the January match.

Jackie Moss and Rachael Goh (Penn) played at the number two ladder position. In January, Moss won in four games. Moss, Princeton’s captain, took the first game in tie-breakers, 12-10. The two All-Americans traded points throughout the second game, but again, Goh fell just short, 9-11.

Moss won in three games (12-10, 11-9, and 11-6).
