College Squash Fitness Tip #1: Squash Twisting Exercises
In a recent College Squash Association poll question, the majority of respondents wanted to see fitness and training articles related to squash. Tim Bacon, a lecturer in Exercise & Sport Studies and head coach of squash at Smith College, presents the first College Squash Association Fitness Tip.
Northampton, MA — Here is a video of twisting exercises that could be considered squash-specific. An ideal time to do these would be in the off- or pre-season when athletes are not spending a lot of time on the court – or they could be added to your current routine if you have not already incorporated “twisting” types of movements.
